Transitions..Transitions… BUT GOD!

March 30, 2019

Wow! My last blog post was exactly one year ago! That seems so unbelievable, yet it happened. When the idea of blogging came to me a few years ago, I remember praying and asking God to only let me blog as His Holy Spirit will lead me. I can confidently say that truly, God answered that prayer and by doing so, He removed the burden of people-pleasing from me.  The fact that I blog only as led by God means that whenever I do not post, I know that God has his reasons and I know He is preparing me for something big. This past year has been AMAZING and a whirlwind! Actually my life has changed so much since I graduated from Pharmacy School and I am finally getting to a point where things are settling down. It has been God all the way and I’ve learnt so much and cannot wait to share all that I’ve gone through on this blog.

With that being said, you all have been so amazing! Even with my lack of posting, you’ve all stuck by me and the support has been as strong as ever. Now that I am officially back to blogging, here are a couple of things I want to tackle first. As you all know I graduated from The University of Texas College of Pharmacy in May 2017, started working, got engaged, starting planning a wedding, and now I’m married (happily married, if I may add). I want to be as transparent as possible about these transition in a bid to help others who are either going through the same, or will soon go through a similar process. The process was not all sunshine and roses. There were times when it got difficult, there were times when I didn’t see eye-to-eye with those closest to me, and I felt sharp stabbings of betrayal that led to the lost of MANY “friends”.  The only constant thing has been the love of God! Never have I felt  the warm presence of the Holy Spirit and the sweet friendship of Jesus like I felt in these transitions just as the Scripture says, ” Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). God has been faithful. So, here we go. Please feel free to subscribe to the blog so that you’ll get an email notification when new posts drop and follow me on instagram. If you have questions, drop them in the comment section or DM me on instagram. My first blog post will be dedicated to my husband. I think it’s time to officially introduce him since he helps me maintain this blog! (lol!) I pray all is well with you all! Until next time, may God bless and keep you my loves!

With Love ♥
